Top Performers from the Camp
The prospects below earned an invitation to the You Are Athlete All American Showcase on May 22-24 in Houston, TX. This showcase is a fantastic opportunity for these young athletes to take their game to the next level.
Wide Receivers
2027 WR Jaiden Combal (CA)

Combal gets off the ground quickly and attacks passes at their highest point. He is a long-strider with solid timed speed. He can get down the field and take the top off a defense. His route running shows impressive fluidity.
2029 WR Jayden Smith (CA)

Smith has excellent ball-tracking ability on deep routes. He can get separation quickly, both downfield and in short games. He will need to continue bulking up to ease his transition to the next level.
2028 WR Jeremy Bonhomme (CA)

Bonhomme gets off the line of scrimmage quickly. He is tough to press due to his strength. After the catch, he doesn't waste time getting upfield. He has the next gear to separate from safeties and knows how to set up routes. Arizona State has already offered him.
2028 WR Nathan Karsten (CA)

Karsten is quick-footed and nimble. He shows agility in close quarters and has a good route-running ceiling. His immediate burst allows him to get on top of corners, showcasing good top-end play speed. He is instinctive and aware as a route runner.
2028 WR Tyree Cook (CA)

Cook demonstrates route-running versatility and feel. He is effective downfield and excels in contested situations. While his athleticism is good, it’s not exceptional. He is not a natural hands catcher.
Running Backs
2028 RB Tahj Stephens (CA)

Stephens is difficult to find in traffic due to his low center of gravity. He finishes runs thanks to his leverage. His naturally low pad level fosters above-average balance. He deftly slips through creases too small for bigger backs and is a good cutback runner.
2029 RB Raul Berdon (CA)

Berdon can change directions without losing speed and shows high-level lateral agility. He has a strong burst and accelerates well through the line of scrimmage.
2029 RB Mark Allen Jr. (CA)

Allen has a strong frame that projects well to the next level. He can run between the tackles and pick up yards after contact. His upside is that of an impact upper-tier P4 player. He shows decisiveness when hitting the hole and does a nice job getting downhill.
2026 RB Damon Mitchell (CA)

Mitchell balances patience, vision, and burst. He is quicker than fast and can improve his top-end speed. However, he shows enough to break long runs and has good change of direction in the open field.
2029 RB Cameron Blackman (CA)

Blackman displays agility in the hole, making initial moves to evade the first defender. He is an open-field galloper who won’t get run down from behind. He excels as a north-south hole-puncher with solid speed in the open field and flashes encouraging one-cut ability.
Linebackers
2026 LB Xavier Branch (CA)

Branch has good closing speed as a tackler. He plays with natural bend and coil. He shows a great understanding of where to fit in the run game and is a competent tackler in space despite limited length.
2029 LB Jerry Cazales (CA)

Cazales shows good hips and change of direction in coverage. He flies around the field, chasing after ball carriers. His speed allows him to be a difference maker outside the hashes.
2027 LB Lincoln Sinozic (CA)

Sinozic is a solid tackler for someone with his build. He understands the importance of using leverage. He has flashed the ability to flip his hips and run in coverage, though he hasn’t been asked to cover many tight ends at the high school level.
2027 LB Lashon Taylor (CA)

Taylor can break down in space and is an excellent open-field tackler. He shows the speed to run down plays from behind. With a high motor, he plays with an aggressive edge.
2029 LB Ryan Flores (CA)
Flores is a youthful development prospect. He shows physicality and striking power on defense, along with instincts and ball skills in coverage. He does not shy away from contact.
Offensive Line
2027 OL Issaias Amaya (CA)

Amaya is a lineman with good length, size, and an athletic base. His versatile body type and skill set could project him to any position on the offensive line if he continues to develop. He is comfortable playing in space and climbing to second-level defenders.
2029 OL Donny Pomale (CA)

Pomale combines strength and athleticism. He plays with tenacity, regularly planting opposing defenders into the turf. He does a nice job staying low and sinking his hips on contact.
2029 OL Su’e Tonise (CA)

Tonise is a technically sound lineman who plays with a mean streak. He has the potential to play multiple roles on the line but will likely slide inside as an athletic guard at the next level. He uses his hands well and keeps his feet moving, maintaining a good lower base for balance.
2029 OL Cameron Bolds (CA)

Bolds drives his feet and finishes blocks. He already has good strength and can bend to gain leverage against smaller players. His natural knee bend contributes to his wins in pass protection, consistently allowing him to be the low man.
2029 OL Kobe Welch (CA)

Welch shows quickness and aggression when pulling. He has elite run-blocking skills, with hands and foot quickness to sustain and redirect effectively. He has good upside as a ‘29 prospect.
Defensive Line
2027 DE Cooper Cook (CA)
Cook is a good athlete who can run, redirect, and chase plays down in pursuit. He has solid closing speed when using his angles and plays with a great motor. He is still working on his technique but has room to grow.
2026 DE Zachary Kunz (CA)

Kunz is a high-motor defender who uses his hands well to shed blocks. He has decent burst off the snap and maintains leverage through contact, generating push. He can be quite aggressive in pass-rush situations.
2027 DL Khalil McBurnie (CA)

McBurnie plays with instinct and is good at the point of attack. He has a solid frame and length as a rising ‘27 pass-rusher. He can chase plays down from behind but needs to work on his technique and diversify his skills beyond speed.
2028 DE Cooper Haydock (CA)

Haydock has a good frame for a defensive end or possibly a long-term interior lineman. He has solid length and can carry 260-275 pounds with ease before the end of his high school career. He can play inside or as a defensive end depending on his growth. He gets off the ball quickly and is physical at the point of attack, redirecting well along the line of scrimmage.
2027 DT Carmelo Wright (CA)

Wright is thick across the upper body but also has length. He plays with a great motor and has strong, heavy hands. He gets off the ball well and uses his smarts to diagnose plays. His senior year will be crucial in determining his future collegiate career.
Defensive Backs
2028 DB Justin Ibarra (CA)

Ibarra's skill set is best suited for safety or even nickel, where he can fill alleys and track down the football in zone coverage. He competes with toughness, matching his quickness and ability to be coached.
2029 DB Cameron Jones (CA)

Jones has solid ball skills and can make plays on the ball without interfering. He is an extremely competitive player who uses his quickness to his advantage when covering wideouts.
2029 DB Khalil Dominique (CA)

Dominique has sufficient ball skills and good awareness in man coverage. He possesses the feet and physical traits to develop into a solid player over time. He just needs to continue improving his technique daily.
2028 DB Ethan Duffey (CA)

Duffey is an extremely competitive player who loves the challenge of taking on anyone who lines up against him. He has a knack for being around the ball, making plays when it’s in his area. His scrappy style of play is conducive to playing as a nickel or slot corner in college.
2029 DB Treveon Nunley (CA)

Nunley has a slender lower body that broadens up top, presenting a player with physical upside and durability at the defensive back position. He possesses above-average length at cornerback, especially for his age. He is athletically bouncy and competent at finding the football, with the ability to look and lean in phase.
Quarterbacks
2028 QB Anthony Barquinero (CA)

Barquinero is a classic pro-style quarterback with a well-filled-out frame. He is a tall, in-the-pocket passer capable of delivering the football all over the field. He has solid mechanics and arm strength, along with comparable accuracy. He is an anticipatory thrower who gets the ball to his receivers effectively.
2029 QB Alexander Doucette (CA)

Doucette is an exciting athlete who could develop into a high-profile QB. He throws the deep ball with touch and accuracy, playing with poise and calmness in the pocket. He is only scratching the surface of his potential.
2029 QB Evan McAllister (CA)

McAllister has good arm strength for his age and can drive the ball with high velocity to multiple levels of the field. He throws a nice ball with a compact motion, making him a solid young prospect.
2029 QB Trevor Scott (CA)

Scott is a pro-style pocket passer with an arm that matches his size. He is unafraid to take shots down the field and drives the ball vertically with power. He shows promise throwing on the move but is not a big-play running threat mobility-wise. He is a big-framed, big-armed pro-style QB with raw tools and a high ceiling.
2029 QB Lucas Wong (CA)

Wong flashes natural arm talent, both in velocity and getting the ball downfield. He uses a lot of body power to make throws downfield and on deep outs. He is a developmental ‘29 QB continuing to grow and fill out his frame.
