Welcome to the You Are Athlete website ("Site"). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Site, including all content, registrations, products, services, camps, showcases, combines, events, communications, and features offered by You Are Athlete ("YAA," "we," "our," or "us").
By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Intellectual Property
All text, graphics, logos, photographs, videos, rankings, articles, software, event materials, databases, and other content are owned by or licensed to You Are Athlete and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use the Site only for personal, non-commercial purposes. No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, sold, licensed, reverse engineered, or otherwise exploited without prior written permission.
3. Trademarks
"You Are Athlete," YAA, our logos, graphics, event names, and branding are trademarks or service marks owned by You Are Athlete. Third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners.
4. Permitted Use
You agree not to interfere with the Site, attempt unauthorized access, scrape content, upload malicious software, or violate any applicable law.
5. Event Registration
Registration is subject to event-specific policies. You represent that information submitted is accurate. We may refuse or cancel registrations at our discretion. Event schedules, locations, instructors, speakers, and activities may change without notice.
6. Communications (SMS, MMS & Email)
By voluntarily providing your email address or mobile phone number and providing any required consent, you authorize You Are Athlete to send communications regarding registrations, event reminders, schedule updates, weather notifications, customer support, account notices, and, where separately consented to, promotional messages.
Communications may be delivered by email, SMS, MMS, or telephone.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS/MMS messages.

Consent to receive marketing messages is not required as a condition of purchasing goods or services. Transactional messages relating to your registrations or account may still be sent where permitted by law.

7. Electronic Communications
You consent to receive notices and disclosures electronically. Electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that communications be in writing.
8. Photography & Media Release
Participants and parents/guardians (where applicable) grant You Are Athlete permission to photograph, record, livestream, and use participants' names, likenesses, voices, images, and athletic performances for editorial, recruiting, promotional, marketing, educational, advertising, and other lawful business purposes without additional compensation.
9. Assumption of Risk
Participation in football activities involves inherent risks, including serious injury or death. Participants voluntarily assume all risks and should consult a physician before participating.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, You Are Athlete shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the applicable product or service giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless You Are Athlete, its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, sponsors, and partners from claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your use of the Site, participation in events, violation of these Terms, or violation of law.

We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from the Site.
14. Privacy
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
16. Dispute Resolution
The parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution before pursuing binding arbitration in Wake County, North Carolina, unless prohibited by law.
17. Severability
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding use of the Site.
