Here are some Sunday observations to pass along.
Terel Dallas is a 6-foot-3, 180-pound sophomore quarterback who did a good job of getting the football to his receivers yesterday. He is from Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida. Watching the video, Dallas was on point with his arm today. His talent cannot be denied when he is out there spinning the football. Dallas is one of the quarterbacks who really stood out when it was time to do 1v1s. He is a longer quarterback who we noticed can move. We think that he is going to be a player we talk about a lot this upcoming season as well as this offseason. The way he was putting the ball on the money kept receivers wanting to catch passes from him during 1v1s. Dallas has an offer from UAB and Arkansas already.
Tyson McCullough is a 2028 defensive back from Zephyrhills High School (FL) who holds an offer from USF. McCullough is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound safety who does a good job of putting the pressure in receivers' faces in drills. This kid is a real pest in the secondary. He did a good job of holding his own during 1v1s as if he were a cornerback. We think that he did a good job of staying true in his back pedals and kick steps. He was a guy who knew when to use each technique to have a better result. We are thinking that he is the kind of prospect who is going to start seeing more opportunities coming his way. He did not back down from any competition yesterday. It will not take him long to get his name out there more after this summer.
Za'khari Greene is a 2028 defensive back and the teammate of quarterback Dallas who we mentioned earlier. Greene is a 6-foot-2, 160-pound player who holds an offer from Syracuse. Greene was on point in 1v1s and individual drills when he stepped out to perform yesterday. We are able to see that this kid has some really good hips and feet. When you got a bigger defensive back who can move around the football like Greene, you have an advantage. The game is full of taller receivers who are able to run routes with precision. You need guys who are going to be able to match up with the size and speed of these studs who are catching the football. Greene is also a player who has good ball skills. When he makes an interception, he has the ability to take it to the house for a touchdown.
