AAS: Top Performers From the Weekend

Top prospects from every region of the country were competing at the All American Showcase in Houston, TX. Throughout the 3-day weekend, over 125+ national media members, writers, and scouts were in attendance.

Quarterbacks

2028 QB Brailon Davis (TX) MVP

Simple delivery motion, releasing over-the-top. Puts plenty of pace on the ball, but also understands how to use touch. Can make a variety of different throws. He currently holds an offer from Syracuse.

2027 QB Michael Lewis (NV)

Lewis, has solid arm-strength, with good pocket mechanics and throwing motion. He can change throwing motions and make all throws, and is at his best on shorter and intermediate routes.

2029 QB Ezekiel Hester (IN)

Hester shows that he can have throwing velocity as he continues to improve and matures. Can help you move the chains but can also take shots downfield. he holds 3 division one offers.

2028 QB Charlie Skipper (AL)

Impressive-looking athlete with the desired height to play the position. Owns a leaner build now, but could eventually get up in size based on his work in the weight room. Has no issues getting the ball to all different levels of the field.

2027 QB Caleb Sanford (FL)

Sanford is a high upside player with two more years of ball coming his way. He has a strong pocket presence & an arm to make nearly every throw. A competitor who helps lead his troops when his is number is called on.

Wide Receivers

2027 WR Zaiden Swift (TX) MVP

Swift has quick feet might be the best aspect of his game at this stage, as he can shake and lose defensive backs with sharp cuts. Also, a reliable pass-catcher. 

2026 WR Jordan Robinson (FL)

Robinson is a smooth pass catcher who can line up and simply make plays. Good frame with plenty of room to add good weight and strength. Gets off the line well and shows the short area quickness to separate. 

2027 WR Dayshawn Preston (NY)

Well-rounded pass-catcher with a knack for getting open. Fluid route runner who sets up defenders to generate space. Instinctive and creative in possession. electric with the ball in his hands. Tough.

2029 WR Jordan Williams (TX)

Williams is a natural pass catcher with good jump ball skills. Does a nice job winning 50-50 balls and catches the ball well through contact. A player you can trust to move the chains.

2029 WR Jayden Allen (LA)

Allen is quick off the line and accelerates to top speed in a hurry. He shows good long speed that contributes to vertical threat. Look for Allen to generate numerous D1 offers.

2028 WR D’Angelo Amey (IN)

Amey is a solid route runner, very polished. Smart and understands how to set up a corner, when to settle in to a zone and doesn’t run himself out of being open.

Defensive Backs

2028 DB Kristian Ewell Berry (TX) MVP

Ewell-Berry is a fluid mover shows the ability to transition smoothly in and out of his back pedal. Displays above-average short-area quickness and change-of-direction ability to get in and out of breaks. On the brink of a D1 offer.

2028 DB Braden Jones (TX)

Jones shows the ability to play multiple positions in the secondary. Flashes some natural press-man ability and ability to play in zone coverage or the deep hash at the safety position. 

2027 DB William McBeth (MD)

Exhibits good ball awareness and production on both sides of the ball. Receiver skills and ball tracking ability translate to his ability as a cover defender. Willing tackler at the point of attack, will strike you. 

2027 DB Cole Ackerman (TX)

Akerman shows the ability to play in space and make plays in the open field. Possesses above-average play speed, tends to overcompensate with length and instincts at the position.

2028 DB Darvin Cook (MD)

Cook has the frame of safety with cornerback skills. Instinctual player with high skill level. Finds himself around the ball often, sniffing out opportunities to make plays.

Offensive Line

2027 OL David Collom (TX) MVP

Collom is a solid built individual with body control and redirection ability as pass blocker or run blocker. He’s patient in his sets with good depth and anchor. He keeps defenders at arm’s length with long reach.

2027 OL Paul Wallace (TX)

Wallace, is comfortable on the move in the wash or in space. He has an effective punch, strong hands noticeable on either side of the line of scrimmage.

2027 OL Ahmeir Dureso (CA)

Dureso shows himself to be a finisher with the nastiness coveted at the position. He has good foot quickness, moves well laterally, flexible and tough.

2027 OL Gerald Daniels (LA)

Shows quickness off the snap and gets to his blocks easily because of his physical gifts. Will latch onto a defender and pump his legs as he steers them out of the way. Not one to give up on a block and is going to do whatever he can to put a pass rusher’s face mask in the dirt. 

2028 OL Kahmari Miskel (IN)

Miskel displays athleticism and body control shine when lining up across the line and blocking in space. Able to engage and stay on block while driving legs to create running lanes. Sinks hips to win leverage battles.

Defensive Line

2027 OL Davonte Ferrigon (LA) MVP

Farrigon is tough to move once he gets his feat stuck in the ground. He’s also willing to demonstrate his motor and chase down the opposition. He flashes due to his quick get off the ball ability. That said his strength is the assset that will help him standout

2028 DL Rishad Burnett (IL)

Burnett is a highly disruptive player with good traits to play multiple positions and alignments. Uses explosive first step to shoot through gaps and wreck havoc in the backfield.

2029 DE Trenton Gibbs (TN)

Thompson is quick-footed of the edge and excels with speed and effort in pursuit. He has a nice rip move & continues to work on his technique. Thompson has D1 written all over him.

2028 EDGE Emason Tui (FL)

Frame, length and build are partially above average. Tui offers position versatility as a weak-side defensive end or outside linebacker. Freakish athleticism. Possesses elite burst at the snap, and he has the speed to consistently get around the edge. Holds 6+ offers so far.

2028 DL Christian Shaw (MS)

Shaw has good height and length with college-ready size for an edge role, but ample frame space to add significant mass as a true defensive lineman if desired. Could continue that role or play a variety of spots depending on personnel looks.

2027 LB Zen Willams (GA) MVP

Position projection will be dependent on verified weight and growth potential. Displays good athletic ability at the five technique in a base 3-4 defense while showing the ability to play in a two-point stance situationally. Holds two D1 offers.

2027 LB Lincoln Sinozic (CA)

A face-up tackler with good leg drive that doesn’t let many slip ball carriers out of his hands. Comfortable in zone coverage and is quick to anticipate throws.

2027 LB Zander Westwood (PA)

Naturally low center of gravity and impressive core balance allow him to change directions without wasting much, if any, motion. Likes to lead with his weight and will explode through his hips in hopes of getting ball carriers to get them to the ground. Holds several offers currently.

2028 LB Kaden Peoples (AL)

Peoples has good timing and instincts. He can take on a block, disengage and make a play as well as run down plays going away from him. Holds an offer from North Alabama early on.

2027 LB Jaydin Moore (TX)

Ability to close gaps is, without a doubt, a strength at this point in his career. Not only does it get downhill in a hurry, but it will quickly sift through traffic and get outside the hashes to wrangle a ball carrier.

Murray shows the ability to break down linebackers and run over defensive backs in space. He has solid top-end speed and showed an ability to create space. Murry holds 6+ D1 offers so far.

2027 RB Slade Russell (TX) MVP

Russell hits hole with good speed and can change direction at high rate of speed. Solid vision & burst to get upfield & keep the chains moving. Good build, the has a college ready look.

2029 RB Aiden O’Hara (SC)

Shows impressive initial burst. Accelerates naturally with urgency. At his best as a linear slasher or in one-cut situations. Can more consistently finish runs but generally runs hard and with conviction.

2029 RB Mark Allen (CA)

Quick out of the chute. Good vision at the line of scrimmage allows him to identify blocks and weave through traffic. Well-Rounded back. He already holds six P4 offers & is poised to be a national recruit.

2028 RB Gabe Jones (MD)

Jones has good start/stop burst opens up lanes and frequently gets him out of trouble. Keeps legs pumping through contact. His solid balance and low center of gravity make him even more difficult to bring down.
