The You Are Athlete Regional Exposure Camp Series made a stop in Las Vegas on Jan 17th. Some of the top youth & middle school prospects from the southwest (Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah) were in attendance.
The prospects below earned an invitation to the You Are Athlete National Junior Showcase on June 13-14 in Houston, TX:
2030 WR SJ Fonua - UT

Nice build early on with an ability to see the field early on either side of the ball. Fonua possesses adequate top-end speed verified in a combine environment. Flashes impressive lateral mobility that manifests in his ability to get yards after the catch in the short and intermediate levels.
2030 WR Royce Sargent - UT

Adjusts impressively to the ball in flight. Shows encouraging hands-catching consistency. Fairly quick off the line and effectively subtle in downfield routes. Has football in his blood, with an older brother preparing for the NFL draft currently.
2030 DL Finau Kotoa - UT

Powerful, athletic, and shows more promise on the inside, long term,d nimble, with room to still add significant weight at the next level. He plays well on the end shows more promise on the inside long term using his skills to his advantage.
2030 DL Kailuka Kalilimoku - NV

Big-framed defensive lineman with the look of an edge player and frame potential/strength that could fit multiple roles in varying schemes. Should become a good edge-setter & run-stopper.
2030 WR Zay Christensen - UT

Christensen has a strong combination of size and leaping ability. He separates with ease using speed and physicality to collect YAC. High potential prospect.
2030 QB Carmine Barilla - NV

Classic pro-style quarterback build with a fairly filled-out frame early on. Tall, in-the-pocket passer with the ability to spray the football all over the field. Solid mechanics and above-average arm strength with better accuracy. Already holds one D1 offer.
2031 QB Tavoi Cravens - CA

NFL bloodline with connections to star DB/LB Su’a Cravens. He’s manning the offensive side of the ball & delivering some nice throws to match his early size and confidence in the pocket.
2030 OL Zaya Kekahuna - NV

While he plays tackle as a prep, he projects as an interior lineman in college. In the running game, shows nastiness and quickness when pulling, with elite run blocking skills, hands and violence with foot quickness to sustain and redirect with good body control.
2031 OL Raider Shepherd - NV

Not overly long, but owns enough frame space to reach requisite mass as he continues to develop. That said, he’s quick off the ball and gets to the second level deftly. Plays with good toughness.
2031 RB Jahaj Lewis - NV

Has a relatively wide-framed upper body with no bad weight and considerable room for added bulk. Runs well, has solid vision & ball catching skills as a two-way prospect.
2030 LB Alekisio Tautuiaki - NV

A thick frame throughout the upper and lower body. Oversized LB who could transition into a DE long-term, but in the meantime, a player who attacks the football & plays with confidence.
2030 LB Reagan Alonzo - CA

Pretty well put together prospect for his age. He’s extremely coachable, a yes-sir, no-sir kind of player who should generate some attention once he’s at his HS. Runs as well as amore traditional linebacker.
2030 Xalen Smith - NV

Smith uses his advanced combination of quickness and length to make plays on the ball when in coverage. He’s a ball-hawk naturally, but will need to continue to improve footwork and technique as he transitions to the next level.
