YAA Maryland Top Performers

The You Are Athlete Regional Exposure Camp Series made a stop in Maryland on April 11th. Some of the top high school prospects from the northeast were in attendance. Prospects from across these states came out to compete and show why they deserve an invite to the All-American Showcase in Houston.
This showcase always produces major fruit, with players who receive attention following the event. This group is no different with multipe standouts and high-end producers who are set to see their recruitment rise.
The prospects below earned an invitation to the You Are Athlete All American Showcase on May 22-24 in Houston, TX. Several players stood out but these guys took the cake demonstrating upside, skill and catching the attention of our staff.
Top Defensive Line
2027 Edge Mason Fisher out of San Marcos HS (CA.)

Fisher quickly reads and reacts. Outstanding pass rusher who can also drop into coverage on occasion. Plays with an extremely high motor.
2027 DL Easton Quiroz out of Coconino HS (AZ)
Quiroz plays with great motor. He is still working on the technique. Once he adds more violent hands and some go-to pass rush moves to his arsenal, he will be tough to stop.
2027 DL Jacob Falls out of Higley HS (AZ.)
Falls, is a very good athlete who can run, redirect, and chase plays down in pursuit. He also has good closing speed.
2029 DL Anthony Dominguez out of Basha (AZ.)
Domingues is quick at the line of scrimmage, with a quick first step. Can chase down backs and end the play. High motor prospect.
2029 DL Nigel Thompson out of Betty Fairfax (AZ.)
Thompson is quick-footed of the edge and excels with speed and effort in pursuit. He has a nice rip move & continues to work on his technique. Thompson has D1 written all over him.
Top O-Lineman
2028 OL Jayden Fletcher out of Las Vegas HS (NV.)

Fletcher is a solid-built individual with body control and redirection ability as a pass blocker or run blocker. He’s patient in his sets with good depth and anchor.
2027 OL Narshawn Doherty Denson out of Victory Valley (CA.)
Denson is light on his feet and comfortable moving laterally. He keeps defenders at arm’s length with long reach.
2027 OL Malakai Filimoeatu out of Payson HS (UT.)
Filimoeatu shows himself to be a finisher with the nastiness coveted at the position. He has good foot quickness, moves well laterally, flexible and tough.
2029 OL Andrew Lagunas out of Goodyear HS (AZ.)
Lagungs, is comfortable on the move in the wash or in space. He has an effective punch, strong hands noticeable on either side of the line of scrimmage.
Top WR's
2030 WR Kash DeVorce out of Basha HS (AZ.)

DeVorce is capable of moving around the formation. Field-stretching vertical threat who provides home run-hitting ability. Everything about him screams national talent.
2030 WR Ahmad Jones out of Basha HS (AZ.)

Jones is quick off the line and accelerates to top speed in a hurry. He shows good long speed that contributes to vertical threat. Look for Jones to generate numerous D1 offers.
2029 WR Rodgerick Bates out of Millenium HS (AZ.)
Bates, shows hands-catching ability and keeps the ball away from his body. Naturally fluid and loose in hips to maximize speed and athleticism.
2027 WR Landon Banks out of Highley HS (AZ.)
Banks finds another gear or two in the open field. He’s much better than expected as a high-pointer to help him reel in catches.
2029 TE Grant Zemla out of Hamilton HS (AZ.)
Zemla wins red-zone 50-50 balls against overmatched high school defenders. He elevates and shows impressive body control. High upside. One to watch in the 2029 class.

2027 RB Frank Schwenke out of Maple Mountain HS (UT.)

Schwenke uses his frame and good hands to enhance space/passing game value to keep him on the field on all three downs. He is efficient in space with minimal wasted movement.
2026 RB Elijah Ayala out of San Juan Hills HS (CA.)
Ayala shows the ability to break down linebackers and defensive backs in space. He has solid top-end speed and showed an ability to create space.
2029 RB Jeremiah Carson out of Millennium HS (AZ.)
The type of ball carrier who loves contact, as he keeps his legs pumping and is always trying to fall forward. Efficient with his cuts and usually one that hits the whole with a full head of steam.
2029 RB Christian Garcia out of Organ Mountain HS (NM.)
Garcia hits hole with good speed and can change direction at high rate of speed. Solid vision & burst.
Top QB's
2029 QB Nick Dillon out of Lincoln HS (OR.)

Dillon has solid arm strength, with good pocket mechanics and throwing motion. He can change throwing motions and make all throws, and is at his best on shorter and intermediate routes.
2029 QB Josh Arleth out of Sunnyslope HS (AZ.)
Arleth, as a passer, has a very compact release, over-the-top motion, and good arm strength. He can stand to improve accuracy in short to intermediate throws.
2029 QB Elston Hooper out of Pleasant Grove HS (AL.)
Hooper, is an accurate quarterback with plus arm-strength. Excels on shorter and intermediate routes. High football IQ. Able to go through his progressions and read defenses.
2029 QB Marcello Giglio out of Corona Del Sol HS (AZ.)
Giglio shows that he can have throwing velocity as he continues to improve and matures. Can help you move the chains but can also take shots downfield.

2028 DB Owen Cook out of Perry HS (AZ.)

Cook has solid ball skills and can come down with the ball in traffic and contested situations. He has solid physicality and pop in his hands.
2029 DB Brayden Funches out of Goodyear HS (AZ.)
Funches has the frame of safety with cornerback skills. Instinctual player with high skill level. Finds himself around the ball often, sniffing out opportunities to make plays.
2028 DB Santiago Ibarra out of Los Alamitos (CA.)
Ibarra tracks ball well and has great timing. He opens hips and runs with ease. He’s a long strider who can cover on long crossing routes and deep throws.
Top LB's
2027 LB Elijah Nichols out of Corona Del Sol HS (AZ.)

Nichols has a strong lower body, and plays with good effort and passion for the game. He has good straight-line speed that helps him make plays.
2028 OLB Mike Meeker out of Great Oaks HS (CA.)
Meeker shows very nice range on defense with the ability to play in space covering in the slot. He also has good closing speed, a very nice range on defense, and the ability to play in space.
2027 LB Nicolas Galloway out of San Pedro HS (CA.)
Galloway has good timing and instincts. He can take on a block, disengage and make a play as well as run down plays going away from him.
2028 LB Julius Cole out of Bishop Gorman HS (NV.)
Cole shows good fluidity and speed off the edge, with quickness to get to the quarterback. He has high-level instincts and reaction speed.
2027 LB Aurei Moody Higley HS (AZ.)
Moody recognizes plays and contains his assigned gap. Decent in pass coverage, but makes his impact coming up to make plays on ball carrier.
